SONGS FOR JUSTICE will feature the talents of over a dozen performers, all gathering to show their support for The American Civil Liberties Union. The ACLU is a nonpartisan, non-profit organization whose stated mission is "to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States." The February 25th concert will begin at 12:45pm at the famed cabaret. All proceeds will benefit The ACLU and its continued fight for justice, integrity and civil rights.
Audiences can expect to hear songs from musical theatre, the American songbook and brand new pieces written by participants. Joining Dressler are Richard Rice Alan, Tamala Baldwin, Maizy Boosin, Blair Brown, Julia DeSimone, Beth Fitzpatrick, Morgan Paige Fluss, Willow Grey, James Horan, Alison Mahoney, Megan Marod, Emily Mattheson, Steven Carl McCasland, Andrew Parks, Merrill Peiffer, Jeanine Robinson, Jasmine Speiss, Nora Terzo, Daniel Walstad, Valerie Williams and America's Sweethearts.
